ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister of State for Privatization Muhammad Zubair has said people would not support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rallies on August 7 as they had already rejected PTI’s sit-in at D-Chowk.
The PTI has an agenda of creating unrest in the country as its government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was failed to deliver anything for people’s welfare, he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was effectively working on the agenda of development and prosperity of the country and masses. The PTI protest demonstration would not affect the government’s performance, policies and popularity.
He said the PML-N emerged victorious in general election 2013, bye-polls, local bodies election, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir’s general election due to prudent polices, vision and manifesto of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He said the government was always ready to talk with opposition parliamentary committee on Terms of References (ToRs) on Panama Papers. The opposition had framed its ToRs one person specific.
Replying to a question, he said PML-N had filed a disqualification reference against PTI Chief Imran Khan under articles 62 and 63 before the Speaker of the National Assembly.
He urged Imran Khan to declare his all assets with documentation.
