QUETTA, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday expressed satisfaction over improving law and order situation in Balochistan and said that terrorist would be dealt with iron hand.

In a meeting with the Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri who called on him at Governor House in Quetta on Thursday evening, the president said that upon completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project (CPEC), a new era of economic and social progress will commence in Balochistan.

The president maintained that the CPEC project, up gradation of Gwadar Deep Sea Port, Gwadar Port Express Way and Gwadar International Airport will not only ensure economic progress in the province but will also lead to immense employment opportunities.

Mamnoon Hussain assured that the government is determent for timely completion of all on-going development projects in the province to bring it at par with other provinces.

The Provencal governor and chief minister thanked the president for taking keen interest in the development of Balochistan.

Earlier on his arrival at Governor House, the president was presented guard of honour by Balochistan Police.
