ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: As the summer holidays on-going the tourists thronged to hilly areas with families to enjoy the summer vacations. Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) announced various tour packages and special rates for its hotels, motels and resorts situated in some of the most attractive tourist spots in the country.

Group tours for families and students to places like Murree, Ayubia, Shogran, Naran, Lake Saiful Maluk, Swat Valley, Chitral (including Kalash Valley), Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu and Neelum Valley (Azad Kashmir) are being offered on special rates which include breakfast, accommodation in PTDC Motels and comfortable transport.

All roads and hotels in the northern areas have been opened for tourists and, as expected, Kaghan Valley shall remain a hot favorite destination for Pakistani tourists this year.

For many years, water sports like river rafting and kayaking in the Kunhar River has added to the attractions for tourists visiting Kaghan Valley, said PTDC official.

“With its motels at Bamburet, Chitral, Bunni and Mastuj, PTDC has a strong presence in Chitral district, promoting tourism for the last many decades,” he said.

He said that PTDC is offering special packages to various areas of northern areas including Gilgit – Hunza – KKH, Skardu Valley & Deosai, Kaghan Valley, Swat Valley, Rawlakot & Banjosa Lake, Neelum Valley and Murree & Galiat.
