PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has once again begun an innovative tour to facilitate the tourists before it started the Attock Kurd Train Safari, which in a few months became the on demand tourist resort and long queues of booking are still in set up.

The latest is called “Flexi Holidays” and is once again a joint venture of TCKP in coordination with Sehrai Travels & Tours. The flexi Holidays consist of three days and two nights, package at Batakundi Summer Resort.

The resort is situated at the most scenic spot surrounded by nature amidst the snowcapped mountains. MD Mustaq Ahmad Khan stated that fully furnished cottage and rooms available for small family groups is planned.

It also includes on board refreshments during journey, accommodation on double room basis, breakfast and dinner (two meals per day) and transportation from Islamabad and Peshawar by air conditioned coaster, hi-ace.

Batakundi is situated at a distance of 16km from Naran at the height of 8,890 ft on way to Babusar Pass towards Chillas. It offers a magnificent view of the lush green wide panoramic valley.  The entire valley is dotted with potatoes and pea’s farmlands. The scenic valley has been aptly known as the dreamland for the nature lovers.

The beautiful valley offers a lot of adventure, thrill and exciting activities i.e. pony riding, trout fishing, trekking, jeep, safaris mountain biking etc. the famous Lalazar Heights a favorite picnic spot is just a half an hour away from the camping site. An exciting day trip to Sharan is a rewarding experience. Jalkhad is a perfect spot for fishing.

The tented resort offers decent accommodation for families with folding beds and kitchen facilities for fast food and regular food with competent and trained staff. The two packages designed are, firstly only transportation to Peshawar-Naran-Peshawar (3 days).

This is for those who want to arrange their own accommodations but requires only transportation. In this package on board refreshments will also be given and it is for only Rs 3,985. While the second package is for Rs 11,985 only and includes transports, accommodation and food (three days). While for children there is a 50% discount for age 5 to 12. The Flexi Holiday is from Friday to Sunday every weekend of the summers.

The TCKP is beginning its first tour from Eid so all those planning a holiday in Naran have this great opportunity and at very reasonable rates keeping in mind no compromise on quality, stated by the MD TCKP.
