ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: National Book Foundation (NBF) is providing free of cost books to prisoners under its scheme “Free Mind Prisoners Club”.

The Foundation is making efforts to promote books reading among the people of the country.

Under the scheme, the foundation provided free of cost books to the library of Muzafarghar Jail.

The NBF Multan Region Incharge Ghulam Murtaza hand over the gift of books to the Muzafarghar jail authorities.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the Foundation is determined to provide books door to door across the country.

He said under different schemes, books provision to prisoners is one of the positive efforts to spread knowledge and awareness among the prisoners.

Superintendent Muzafarghar Jail Aamir Mehmood Qureshi highly praised the Foundation scheme, saying that this is one of the best scheme.
