ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister of State, Capital Administration and Development Division (CA&DD), Barrister Usman Ibrahim Thursday said the facilities of government educational institutions would be updated on modern techniques.

Attending the Oath Taking Ceremony of the newly elected representatives of Central Academic Staff Association (CASA) of Islamabad Model College for Boys, G-10/4, he said the step is being taken on directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

The facilities, include Laboratories, Transport, classrooms and new buildings, he said adding that the government is committed to provide quality of education.

He expressed hope that the new members of CASA will be instrumental in solving the problems faced by the teaching staff of the government educational institutions of the city.

Earlier the newly elected President of CASA Professor Rasheed Khan apprised the minister about the problems faced by the teachers.

He also showed his gratitude towards the minister for his personal interest in solving the problems of the teachers. One of our perennial problems regarding hiring of housing facility was solved by the honorable Minister, he said.

The Minister assured to resolve the problems collectively faced by the teachers and added quality education can be imparted to the students only if their teachers remain satisfied while performing their duties.

We will ensure that the grievances of the teachers be addressed at the earliest.

The students of the college presented a skit in the function. Their performance fascinated the audience.
