MIRPUR (AJK): The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has planned to launch computer literacy program from the primary education level in the educational institutions located in far flung areas.

The government has principally decided to introduce computer literacy from class one in all state run primary schools located in remote and backward areas, side by side the urban parts, official sources told media here Wednesday.

Besides, the official record in all the public sector institution including nation building departments, schools and colleges, civic institutions and development authorities across AJK is being computerized, under phased program, to ensure the smooth and quick working of these institutions for the benefit of the masses including all concerned, the sources said.

The government has launched the program with special emphasis to produce the skilled students and them quality general education in the public sector educational institutions under the spirit of the sitting governments vision of turning AJK into a true model welfare state.
