86 Taliban militants killed in Afghanistan over 24 hours

KABUL, Afghanistan: At least 86 Taliban militants have been killed and 71 others injured by the Afghan police units and the army in operations across Afghanistan over the past 24 hours, a foreign news agency citing the interior ministry reported on Monday.

   

The security forces also arrested 14 militants in operations which were conducted in Nangarhar, Kunduz, Saripul, Urugan, Wardak, Khost and Paktia provinces.
