RIYADH: As many as 800‚000 Pakistanis have got legal status in Saudi Arabia, Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan said in an interview with Arab News.

The Pakistani envoy urged Pakistani workers to contact consulate general in Jeddah for achieving legal status and jobs.

The envoy said that the Saudi government has extended the amnesty deadline for expatriates till November 3 for which he thanked King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Salman.

He also lauded the Saudi Immigration Department for its cooperation and support especially to the Pakistani community in achieving the legal status.
