3306 new Coronavirus Cases and 40 Deaths surface in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 3,306 people contracted Coronavirus and 40 breathed their last in the last 24 hours across the Country, taking the Cases and deaths toll to 386,198 and 7,843 respectively.

In the last 24 hours, 2,923 people tested positive and 19 died in Punjab, 2,866 people tested positive and 8 died in Sindh, and 1,344 tested positive and 5 died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).

Similarly, 297 people turned COVID positive and 6 passed away in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 165 turned positive and 1 died in Balochistan, 152 caught the virus and 1 died in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 96 tested positive in Gilgit-Baltistan.

So far, Sindh has registered 167,381 Coronavirus Cases and 2,866 deaths, Punjab 116,506 Cases and 2,923 deaths, KPK 45,828 Cases and 1,344 deaths, ICT 28,555 Cases and 197 deaths, Balochistan 16,942 Cases and 165 deaths, AJK 6,403 Cases and 152 deaths, and Gilgit-Baltistan 4,583 Cases and 96 deaths.

However, 334,392 people have now recovered from the disease across Pakistan making it a significant count.

As of now, the total Active COVID-19 Cases in the Country are 43,963. Of them, 2,485 patients are admitted in hospitals.
