GAZA CITY: A total of 2,016 Palestinians have been killed while 10,196 have suffered injuries since the Israeli military unleashed attacks on the Gaza strip on July 8, the health ministry said.

The ministry said that those killed in the attacks included 541 children, 250 women and 95 elderly men.

Meanwhile, as the five-day ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas is due to come to an end later on Monday, Tel Aviv regime has deployed its troops near the Gaza strip.
