RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Two innocent civilians embraced martyrdom while seven civilians and three Pakistan army soldiers suffered injuries in a suicide blast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu District on Sunday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Monday, the ISPR said that on November 26, 2023, a motorcycle borne suicide bomber, affiliated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group and later identified as an Afghan national, exploded himself on a security forces’ convoy in Bakka Khel area of Bannu District.

   

Resultantly, two innocent civilians embraced Shahadat while seven civilians and three soldiers got injured.

The ISPR said that the sanitization operation was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

It further said that security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave civilians and soldiers further strength our resolve.
