Tourism1st Karakorum Ultra Marathon set for September 6

The first Edition of the Karakorum Ultra Marathon is being organized next month from Ulmong Chumik Thaly to Karakoram Lodge Khaplu, aiming at the promotion of eco-tourism.

The Marathon (21k 42k 55k) in Khaplu Baltistan will take place on September 6, 2024.

Endure.pk is the initiating partner of the Karakorum Ultra Marathon while Karakoram Lodge, Khaplu (KLK) is the welcoming host and lodging partner.

The Baltistan Tours Pakistan will serve as on-ground organiser and execute the operation management.1st Karakorum Ultra Marathon set for September 6

The organizing partners have also pledged to promote eco-tourism and environmental safety by planting 200 fruit plants and 1,000 Safeda plants in the surrounding of Khaplu Valley.

They have announced that all participants from Gilgit-Baltistan will be provided free entry to the race.
