ISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said 193 people died and 1116 sustained injuries in various areas of the country as a result of flash flooding.

NDMA has established 512 relief camps for flood hit people across the country.

According to latest data released by NDMA‚ 261 relief camps have been established in Punjab‚ 247 in Sindh and four relief camps have been providing basic amenities of life to marooned people in Balochistan.

Over one hundred thirteen thousand people and over five thousand two hundred villages have been affected by the floods.

Over 35‚300 houses have been damaged partially and over 17‚100 completely as a result of floods.
