16 killed in collision between school bus, oil tanker in northern Egypt

CAIRO, Egypt: At least 16 persons were killed and 18 others injured in a collision between a school bus and an oil tanker in northern Egypt on Wednesday.

   

The reports said that the accident occurred near the Nile Delta city of Damanhur where a school bus carrying students collided with an oil tanker.

The collision took place because the driver could not control the bus while driving on the slippery road caused by torrential rains, according to the provincial governor Mustafa Hadhud.
