Two terrorists including a Commander were killed in an operation carried out in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Saturday, the ISPR said that the Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.

During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists.

Resultantly, two terrorists got killed including Terrorist Commander Khabaib Alias Bilal of Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group, the ISPR said.

The ISPR aid that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

It said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces, preparation of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and killing of innocent citizens.

It added that terrorist Commander Khabaib was also involved in suicide attack on security forces’ convoy in Mir Ali in August 2022.
