Islamabad, Pakistan: Last year E-11 sector was inundated, resulting in several causalities and loss of properties. This year’s major hit is Rawalpindi Defence and Bharia Town and colonies along with Korang Nullah and Swan River.

Unplanned growth, an illegal remolding of flash flood nullahs, encroachment, and even construction over nullah by building slabs over them is now resulting wrath of nature. Nobody could stop powerful real estate mafias when they were encroaching lands and constructing housing colonies by flouting rules.

Now owners of these plots are facing the natural havoc which had invested their lives savings.

The banks of Korang Nullah and Swan River were the most hit areas converted into posh housing societies.
