ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday night on a two-day visit from May 8 to 9, 2024.

The visiting dignitary was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival in Islamabad.

   

The Uzbek foreign minister was received by the Director General (Central Asia & ECO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aizaz Khan at Nur Khan Airbase.Uzbek FM Bakhtiyor Saidov arrives in Pakistan

During his visit, the Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov will meet Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and hold in-depth talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on a wide range of bilateral issues of mutual interest with special focus on trade and connectivity.

The visit of the Foreign Minister of Republic of Uzbekistan is expected to provide fresh impetus to the friendly relations between the two Countries, according to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mumtaz Zahra Baloch.
