Monitoring Desk: “I think lockdown saved no lives. I think it may have cost lives”.

This is observed by Professor Levitt, who won the Nobel Prize for chemistry in 2013 for the ‘development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems.

According to a story of The Telegraph posted by Tom Morgan, Professor Levitt believed that leaders panicked and the people panicked and there was a huge lack of discussion.

He was of the view that lockdown resulted in social damages like domestic abuse, divorces, and alcoholism and these damages had been an extreme impact.
