In total, 677 COVID-19 Vaccination Centres have so far been established in Punjab and 36 of them remain open 24 hours a day.

So far, a total of 343,031 Coronavirus Cases have been registered in Punjab while 10,397 people have succumbed to the infection since the beginning.

However, 319,965 patients have now recovered from the disease.

Earlier in the day, briefing the media in Islamabad, the Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umer expressed satisfaction over the vaccination drive and said that Pakistan has achieved a major milestone of administering 10 million doses of anti-COVID vaccine.

However, the minister said that we have a long way to go as our target is to vaccinate 70 million people by the end of 2021

Asad Umar said that about 300,000 to 350,000 people on daily basis are registering themselves for the vaccination.
