ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The visit of President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Islamabad has been postponed due to bad weather.

The UAE president was scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on Monday on a one-day visit for high level talks for the promotion of bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Office said that the UAE president will be escorted by JF-17 aircrafts to PAF Noor Khan Air Base where the distinguished guest will be given a 21-gun salute.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and important members of the Federal Cabinet will welcome the distinguished guest at the air base.

His Excellency Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be presented a guard of honor by the armed forces of Pakistan at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad after which he will have a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

His Highness Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Pakistan on January 25, 2023.

Shahbaz Sharif welcomed him at Rahim Yar Khan Airport.

There was also a meeting between the two leaders in Rahim Yar Khan.
