QUETTA: At least two persons have been reported killed and over 10 injured in bomb blast on Saryab Road of Quetta.

According to initial unconfirmed reports, this bomb blast took place outside Burma Hotel on Saryab Road of Quetta.

The police and rescue teams rushed to the blast side and immediately started moving the injured to hospital, after cordoning off the area.

The explosive material was fixed on a cycle, parked outside the hotel, and this planted device caused blast, informed the police present at the scene. Two people lost lives and at least 10 other sustained injuries in the bomb blast, added police.

The bomb disposal squad has also reached at the blast side and started search for any more explosive or planted device in nearby places.

The officials of bomb disposal squad are also collecting samples of the blasted device and explosives to examine it later.
