JHELUM, Pakistan: The Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is committed to make Pakistan a prosperous Country with a bright future, and it is only possible when corrupt elements are taken to task.

While addressing Dosti Sports Festival at Khewra near Pind Dadan Khan on Saturday, Fawad Chaudhry once again invited the opposition parties to sit together to evolve a consensus on Military Courts to act decisively against terrorism.

The minister said that the National Action Plan (NAP) was agreed by all political parties of the Country and needs to be implemented in unison. He said that successful operations against terrorism have largely eradicated this menace from the Country and the sporadic terrorist attacks cannot break out will against this scourge.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the whole Pakistan is in grief over the targeting of Hazara community members in Quetta. He said that terrorist attack in New Zealand last month demonstrates that no country is immune from violence.

The information minister said that the government has taken concrete steps to bring FATA into mainstream after the successful military operations. He said that an amount of Rs 100 billion will be spent on reconstruction and development of erstwhile FATA for the next 10 years.

In addition, he said that that the PTI government has brought a new foreign policy and soon Pakistan will lead the whole region.

The minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is being recognized an important leader of world stature who is leading the country towards a prosperous future.
