Unknown assailants kill four including three policemen in Hangu

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Four persons including three policemen were killed after unknown assailants opened fire on a police checkpoint near the Qazi Pump area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district on Monday morning.

“At least four militants riding a car stopped at a police check post and three of them opened fire killing three policemen and a passer-by,” the district police chief Anwar Saeed Kundi said.

The security personnel were immediately sent to the site as a search operation was launched.
