ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A group of terrorists stormed a security check post in volatile South Waziristan agency on Tuesday and killed three security personnel, the security sources said.

The sources said that the check post was situated in Ladha area of South Waziristan, adding that terrorists escaped after the attack.

They further told that the security personnel killed as a result of the terrorist attack were named as Muhammad Ali, Jafar Hussain and Arsalan Khan.

Several terrorists killed in Shawal air strikes

Meanwhile, the armed forces continued to conduct air strikes targeting the hideouts of the terrorists in Shawal area of North Waziristan on Tuesday.

In a short statement, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that several terrorists were killed in an aerial strike in Shawal area.

The ISPR said that the strikes also destroyed a training camp and an arms depot of terrorists.
