Several suspected militants killed in North Waziristan operation

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s armed forces including the air force conducted coordinated operations in the restive North Waziristan tribal agency since last night that left more than 43 suspected militants killed, media reports said.

The media citing security sources reported that more than 15 suspected militants were killed in armed forces operation on Tuesday morning in different areas of North Waziristan while four were killed when jet fighters bombed hideouts in Tirah valley of the Khyber Agency.

In addition, 24 were killed in overnight bombing by jet fighters in Mir Ali and Miranshah areas of North Waziristan.

The sources said that those killed were involved in Bannu, Qissa Khawani bazaar and Peshawar Church attacks.
