QUETTA: The security forces conducted a search operation in the Pidrak area of Turbat in Balochistan’s Kech district on Saturday morning, in the meantime militants opened fire on them that resulted in an exchange of fire.
Subsequently, at least five militants were killed during the exchange of fire between militants and security forces.
A security official said that the security forces arrested eight militants from Pidrak as well as recovered arms and ammunition from the militants.
