ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday called upon the Supreme court of Pakistan (SC) and Election Commission (ECP) to take notice of the links between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LJ), Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

The sunni militant organization is involved in 80 percent terrorist activities in Pakistan, Malik claimed while talking to media before he left for London.

The federal minister said all the information pertaining to LJ had been provided to the Punjab government. He said SC and ECP should take notice of the links between PML-N with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

Meanwhile, Malik appreciated convening All Parties Conference by JUI-F and said that a joint strategy should be adopted to counter terrorism in the country.
