DERAL ISMAIL KHAN: Unknown gunmen opened fire on policemen protecting a team of polio workers in the Parwa tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, killing one policeman and injuring another.
A large contingent of police reached the location of the attack and cordoned off the area, while the injured policeman was shifted to the district headquarter hospital.
