KARACHI: Police conducted search operation at least 79 people who were reportedly involved in street crimes, robberies, drug business and other crimes were arrested last night as police conducted raids in various parts of the city on Monday.
According to the police, the arrested people also included four foreigners.
70 suspects were rounded up in Landhi, and Korangi, nine in Zaman Town and Chakra Goth, five in Awami Colony, two in Malir City and six in Saudabad, recovering drugs and heavy amount of cash from their possession, the sources said.
Police have made a list of wanted people, involved in crimes, and intend to conduct raid to arrest them.
