KARACHI: At least two persons were killed while seventeen others injured in two separate hand grenade attacks here on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, the incidents occurred near Gabol Park, general hospital and Phool Pati area of Lyari in which 22-year-old man Sajid son of Shahnawaz.

The injured people were Shahid Ahmed, Nadeem Rehman, Nazir, Rasheeda Bibi, Deen Mohammad and others. They were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.

Tension prevailed in the area after the attack.
