Eight members of Hazara Community killed in Quetta

QUETTA, Pakistan: At least eight persons belonging to Hazara Community were killed while six others sustained injuries in a firing incident in the Hazar Ganji area of Quetta on Thursday morning.

Police said that the victims after purchasing fruits and vegetables in the Hazar Ganji area were coming back to their destination in a vehicle when unknown gunmen opened fire at their vehicle.

The victims were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital Quetta for medical and legal requirements.

The security forces cordoned off the area and started investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, the Hazara Democratic Party and other Shia Community organizations announced three days mourning against the deadly incident.
