Blast in Tank kills policeman, injures other two

TANK: A bomb targeting a police mobile van went off near a bridge at Tank-Wana Road on Thursday that left a policeman killed and three others injured.

The sources said that unidentified persons had planted a remote-controlled bomb along a road side near a bridge at Tank-Wana Road and as a police mobile van passed by, it exploded.

The slain policeman was identified as Azizullah while three others who were injured in the explosion were shifted to Headquarter Hospital in Tank.

Soon after the blast, the security forces reached the blast site, cordoned off the area and started investigation.
