Bannu, KPK: Officials said Howaid police station located on the outskirts of Bannu was surrounded by 35 to 40 militants last night who fired rockets and hurled hand grenades on the police station building.
Security forces came to rescue the policemen with an immediate retaliation and the attackers fled away. However, a civilian was killed after being caught in the crossfire.
