BAGHDAD: A spate of bombings rocked Baghdad on Wednesday, killing at least 16 persons and injuring several others, the unnamed Iraqi security officials said.
The official said that the deadliest violent incident occurred when two car bombs went off outside Iraq’s foreign ministry building in the Iraqi capital that left at least seven persons dead and 15 others injured.
In another incident, a suicide bomber blew himself and the vehicle up outside a restaurant, killing at least five persons and injuring 12 others.
Similarly, four more persons were killed and eight others suffered injuries in a car bomb attack which rocked Khilani Square in Baghdad’s commercial centre.
