In a recent beta update, WhatsApp has introduced the feature of full-quality image upload. However, the feature is still in a testing process. Therefore, it may take a few more changes to bring the option to the stable version of WhatsApp. WABetaInfo has revealed the news about this feature operating in WhatsApp Beta version.
How to Use The Feature?
WhatsApp will bring a feature to choose between WiFi or Mobile data when uploading original quality images. Because, uploading high quality image means more data usage. So, if there are mobile data constraints, it is advisable to use Wifi. WABetaInfo shared a screenshot that showed how to use the feature. You will get a new cogwheel option at the top of your screen when selecting the image from you gallery.
From the cogwheel, you can choose between different options for photo quality. amongst the options, select original quality image. It will let you upload pictures without deteriorating the pixels and quality.
The launch of this feature is not yet official. The option is only available on WhatsApp beta and is still under testing. Therefore, we cannot anticipate any exact tiime of official launch on stable WhatsApp.
The recent updates that WhatsApp has introduced are WhatsApp Avatar and WhatsApp polls. Soon, we will also get this new fetaure to interact in a better way.
