To follow the track, Meta’s social media platforms like Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram also got this feature. WhatsApp has been the last in line, so far, to get WhatsApp avatar features so that users can better express themselves. This 3D avatar feature is customisable as per the users’ preferences.

WhatsApp avatar is a whole new feature in Whatsapp that is the digital version of the user. There are numerous combinations of hairstyles, body types, facial features, outfits, hair colour, and a lot more. By using all these features, users can personalize their avatars according to how they look.

So far, the platform has launched 36 customised stickers with multiple movements and physical traits. So, you can use your WhatsApp avatar as a sticker while chatting with your friends and family. this feature has enabled chatting fun and more meaningful. The users can also put their avatars as their profile pictures as in Snapchat.

You can customise your WhatsApp avatar by tapping on the three vertical dots in the top right corner. Then go to the Settings menu. There you will get the Avatar option where you can customize your digital self. In near future, Whatsapp will roll out further updates in this feature like skin and hair texture, more stickers, style improvements, lighting, shading and more.

All of Meta’s apps have integrated 3D avatar options for the users. However, users cannot have a single Meta avatar for all the apps. They have to choose separate avatars for all the Meta apps. Meta is likely to announce an update to allow users to set an avatar for all Meta-owned social media sites.

This feature allows them to ask questions and make decisions in a better way with friends and family. More community features will also roll out.
