PESHAWAR: Over 3000 tandoors are on strike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday after the Nanbai association announced to observe a strike in the province over not increasing the price of nan/roti.

Following the strike, the citizens are facing difficulties whereas on tandoor strike the bakery’s sales have been increased.

The Nanbai Association said the price of flour has increased and the government is not taking any measures to control its price whereas due to its high price it is difficult to sell nan/roti on the current price when the management is not allowing to increase the prices.

The association said the strike remains until the price is not increased.
