Sri Lanka will face the Host Pakistan again on Wednesday at National Stadium Karachi for the third One Day International (ODI).
Pakistan is already leading the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka by 1-0.
The first ODI between them was washed out by rain while in the second match, Pakistan sealed a comfortable 67-run victory.

Pakistan hasn’t lost an ODI to Sri Lanka after July 26, 2015 when the latter defeated the former by 165 runs at Hambantota. After that, Pakistan has won seven consecutive ODIs against Sri Lanka while two matches were abandoned in among them.
Overall, Pakistan has so far won 91 ODIs against Sri Lanka and lost 91 games when two sides met each other 154 times from 1975 to 2019.

Earlier in the second ODI held in Karachi on September 30, Babar Azam’s 115 runs innings and Usman Shinwari’s five-fer helped Pakistan bag a thrashing victory over visitors.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 305 for seven in stipulated 50 overs. Apart from Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman also smashed his 12th fifty and Haris Sohail scored 40 before a miscommunication caused his run out. Iftikhar Ahmed also contributed reasonably with his 32 runs of just 20 balls.
From Sri Lanka, Shehan Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka built a 177-run partnership after half of the side had already returned to the pavilion for just 28 runs. Both of them scored 96 and 68 runs respectively but in the end, the entire Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 238 runs in 46.5 overs.
Usman Shinwari picked up 5 wickets by conceding 51 runs in his 10 overs. Shadab Khan took 2 wickets whereas Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Imad Wasim also took one wicket each.
