QUETTA, Pakistan: Director Sports Balochistan Nazar Muhamamd Baloch has said that Sports Festival has been launched in connection 9 November Allama Iqbal Day in which over 1000 players including female players are being participated.

Talking to media on Monday, he said that provincial government allocated 6 million for this festival and adding that a committee was formed under supervision of Director General of Public Relations Balochistan to issue cards to journalists including print and electronic media.

Nazar Baloch said that present collation government is taking measures to sports for youth busy in games so that new generation save from narcotics and other negative activities in order to make healthy citizens.

He said that winter sports were organized Khuzdar, Kalat, Chaman, Ziarat, Sanjawi and Quetta for youth build their interest in games.

Baloch noted that boys and girls competitions inter schools, inter colleges and inter University in winter sports festival where 2o open games arrange in Quetta in which bed Minton, table, teen, throw ball, football, and bodybuilding competition would be held.

He said that Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch along with other official would be distributed prize all games of winner players on November 17 in Ayub Stadium Quetta.

Nazar Baloch further said that Balochistan people are peace full and like sports and adding that modern sport complex is being made in Sariab area.
