SOCHI: France’s Martin Fourcade on Monday won a gold medal in the Biathlon men’s 12.5-kilometer pursuit at the Sochi Winter Olympics.
Fourcade took just 33:48.6 minutes to complete the race at the Laura Center. Ondrej Moravec of Czech Republic finished 14.1 later to take silver and Jean Guillaume Beatrix of France earned bronze, 24.2 behind Fourcade.
Ole Einar Bjoerndalen of Norway came in fourth and missed out on a record 13th Winter Olympics medal.
