SOCHI: The 29-year-old Canada’s Charles Hamelin clinched the gold medal after he won the men’s 1500m short-track speed skating title on Monday at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Han Tianyu of China took silver while Russia’s Victor Ahn ended with bronze medal.
