The legendary leg spinner Shane Warne has hailed the performance of Yasir Shah in the second Test against New Zealand at Dubai, calling it a ‘very special’.

In a twitter message on Wednesday, the former Australian Cricketer Shane Warne congratulated Yasir Shah on his brilliant bowling spell and also advised him to stay patient.

“Congrats to my man @Shah64Y – what a terrific game you had & what a spell that was in the 1st innings, very special. Watching you spin a web bought me a lot of joy and a big smile buddy. Well done. Keep it up and stay patient my friend #spintowin,” Shane Warned wrote on his Twitter account.

The 32-year-old Yasir Shah took 14 wickets in the Test match which ended on Tuesday with Pakistan’s victory over New Zealand.

Yasir Shah made his Test debut against Australia at Dubai in October 2014, and since then, he has played 32 Tests for Pakistan. With an average of 28.23, Yasir Shah has so far taken 195 Test wickets with three 10-wicket hauls, 16 five-wicket hauls and nine four-wicket hauls.

The leg spinner is likely to achieve a world record in his name by picking up fastest 200 Test wickets. Currently, the Australian Clarrie Grimmett holds the record of taking fastest 200 Test wickets which he did in his 36th Test match against South Africa at Johannesburg back in February 1936.

In terms of best bowling figures by a Pakistani bowler in a Test match, Yasir Shah has already leveled the record of great Imran Khan by securing 14 wickets each in the match.
