Another high-scoring match is anticipatedly around the corner at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in Nottingham on Friday, wherein in recent years smashing over 400 runs have become a routine matter.
The venue has produced eight 400-plus scores since the start of 2016.
Even last time when Pakistan met England at the same venue on August 30 2016, the host put a gigantic total of 444 runs on the board while batting first with Alex Hales scoring 171 runs. But Pakistan ended up being bowled out for just 275 runs in 42.4 overs.
The ongoing five-match ODI series has already produced two high-scoring games. After the first ODI ended without any result due to rain, both the teams smashed over 350 runs in each innings of next two games.
However Pakistan lost both the ODIs, which also extended their losing-streak to eight.

For the fourth ODI, Pakistan are likely to bring in Mohammad Hafeez and Mohammad Hasnain. They may replace Faheem Ashraf and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
England would also miss their Captain Eoin Morgan, who is facing one-match suspension and a fine for slow over rate. In his absence, Jos Buttler will lead the side. The fast bowler Jofra Archer is also expected to play today.
If England win beat Pakistan at Nottingham as well, it would be their fifth consecutive series victory against green shirts.
