Pakistan will face a much stronger Australia today as compared to Zimbabwe – whom they blew apart yesterday at Harare Sports Club – before the final of T20 Tri-Series.
Aaron Finch-led Australia have already clinched a comfortable victory against Pakistan in the event.
Both Pakistan and Australia are currently top-ranked T20 nations, and the series results will certainly affect their ICC T20 Ranking. If Australia emerge victorious in the three-nation competition, they may bag the top spot.
Earlier on Wednesday in the 4th match of T20 Tri-Series, Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by seven wickets.

Zimbabwe while batting first scored 162 runs for 4 in their stipulated 20 overs. Solomon Mire made 94 runs off just 63 balls with 6 sixes, becoming the highest scorer against Pakistan in a T20 International.
Besides, Cephas Zhuwao’s 24 and Tarisai Musakanda’s 33 led Zimbabwe to put a decent total on the board.
For Pakistan, Muhammad Amir, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan and Hussain Talat grabbed one wicket each.
In reply, Pakistan batted with ease as Zimbabwe’s bowlers could not assert pressure on their opponents. Pakistan reached the target for the loss of three wickets with five balls still left.
Again Fakhar Zaman was the main contributor with the bat, he scored 47 runs. Haris Sohail, Hussain Talat, Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik scored 16, 44, 38 and 12 (not out) runs respectively.
Zimbabwe’s Chris Mpofu, Wellington Masakadza and Solomon Mire took one wicket each.
