KHULNA, Bangladesh: The host Bangladesh have scored 273 runs without any loss in their second innings of the first cricket Test against Pakistan at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

On Friday morning, Pakistan resumed their first innings at 537 runs for the loss of five wickets. Later, they were all out for 628 runs. The opener Muhammad Hafeez scored 224 runs.

For Bangladesh, left-arm spinner Taijul Islam took six wickets for 163 runs.

In their second innings, Bangladesh managed to score 273 run for no loss till the end of day’s play.

Both the openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes hit unbeaten centuries to lead fight back by Bangladesh on the fourth day.

Today (Saturday) will be last day of the first Test match between the two sides and it is likely that the match will end in a draw.

Muhammad Hafeez, Sami Aslam, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah, Junaid Khan and Zulfiqar Babar.

Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (capt/wk), Soumya Sarkar, Shuvagata Hom, Taijul Islam, Rubel Hossain and Muhammad Shahid.
