KHULNA, Bangladesh: The first cricket Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has entered the third day on Thursday at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

 

A short while ago, Pakistan in their first inning were 352 runs for the loss of three wickets while the right-hand opening batsman Muhammad Hafeez completed his maiden double-century off 286 balls with three massive sixes and 21 fours.

Earlier on Wednesday, on the second day of the first Test against Bangladesh, Pakistan in their first innings were 227 runs for the loss of just one wicket at stumps. Muhammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali were at crease with 137 and 65 runs respectively.

In their first innings, Bangladesh were all out at 332 runs. Mominul Haque remained top scorer with 80 runs for Bangladesh.

For Pakistan, Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah grabbed three wickets each while Muhammad Hafeez and Zulfikar Babar took two wickets respectively.
