PTV Sports to cover Pak vs Zi first one day international in which Pakistan will face Zimbabwe in the first one day international (ODI) of the three-match series at the Harare Sports Club on Thursday. PTV Sports Live

The match will begin at 12:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST), and will be telecast live by PTV Sports.

The second and third ODIs between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will also be played at the same venue on October 3 and 5 respectively. The ODI series follows two Twenty20 matches between the two teams in Harare. Both the T20s were won by Pakistan.

The two teams have played 51 ODIs against each other in the past, out of which Pakistan won 45 games while Zimbabwe three. One ODI remained tied and two ended without any result.

Pakistan is playing their fresh 50-over game a day after the International Cricket Council (ICC) issued the new ODI rankings which confirmed green shirts’ participation in the ICC Champion Trophy to be held in England in 2017.

Currently, Pakistan is placed 8th in the new ICC ODI rankings while Zimbabwe is ranked 11th.
