Muhammad Hafeez suspended from bowling in international cricket

muhammad-hafeezThe Pakistani off-spinner Muhammad Hafeez has been suspended from bowling in international cricket after he failed a test on his action conducted at an ICC accredited centre in Loughborough, England.

The ICC said that the analysis found the flex in his action exceeding the 15-degree limit for all deliveries.

Hafeez was reported for suspect bowling action after the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi last month.

The off-spinner will now have to rectify his action and pass the ICC test before he can bowl in international cricket again. He, however, can play international cricket as a batsman.
