KHULNA: The first cricket test of the two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna from Tuesday.
The Pakistan Television (PTV) Sports is telecasting the match live from 09:00 am as per Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
Both the sides are facing each other for the first time in any Test match after December 2011.
Pakistan team for 1st Test
Muhammad Hafeez, Sami Aslam, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah, Junaid Khan and Zulfiqar Babar.
Bangladesh team for 1st Test
Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (capt/wk), Soumya Sarkar, Shuvagata Hom, Taijul Islam, Rubel Hossain and Muhammad Shahid.
The 1st Test match will continue till May 2 unless any team claims victory prior to that. The 2nd Test will be played from May 6 to May 10 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
Earlier, Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in the one-day series and won the only T20 international by seven wickets. It was the first ever whitewash as well as first T20 win by Bangladesh against Pakistan in their cricket history.
